We had an NT scan on Wednesday. It's a test that measures the fluid in the back of the baby's neck. If the measurement is higher, it's a pretty good sign of Down Syndrome. We also had this test done with Kayleigh, and her's came back way abnormal. So, after a million test, well maybe only like 4, we realized she was fine. No DS, no heart problem and no rare genetic disorder. So, anyways, we repeated the test again with this baby, and the results came back as normal.
During the test in the beginning, Donny asked the ultrasound tech if she could tell the baby's sex. (I was only 12 weeks, 5 days at the time.) The lady says, "Gosh no, it's way too early to tell!" Less than a minute later she says, "Wait, do you want to know?" We both said yes and she said,
"It's a boy!"
We're very happy. He's going to be Donald the 3rd. Kayleigh calls my belly, "Baby Donny". It's the cutest thing! I think she's grasping the concept somewhat!
